We believe that people require different levels of support during their recovery process and that quality housing improves quality of life, assists in the recovery process and decreases reliance on acute and emergency services.
Short-term Emergency
Short-term residential accommodation in the community offers a supportive environment in which licensed professional staff provides 24-hour care to individuals who require stabilization due to symptoms associated with their mental illness.
Licensed Community Residences
These residences are licensed under the Community Care Facility Act and provide 24-hour supervision and care with professional staffing available on a daily basis.
Supported Apartments
Purpose-built apartment building with self-contained suites and a variety of amenity spaces. Support workers are available to provide assistance to residents as required. A meal program and other social activities are available.
Supported Seniors’ Apartments
Purpose-built apartments for seniors provide the same range of supports as supported apartments, but with enhanced meal services. They include specialized design features for aging-in-place and emergency response systems.
Affordable Housing
This type of housing is for people with low to moderate incomes who do not require any housing supports. Each site has different eligibility criteria based on tenant income, family size and composition, current residence or work location.
